From the verdant oases of Tsavo West to the red dust plains of Tsavo East, this Classic Parks Safari has it all. It concludes in the breathtaking sight of the recognisable Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will travel across enormous tracts of land that are home to an incredible variety of wildlife during your safari excursion. Stories of man-eating lions in the past and current sightings of giraffe, impala, buffalo, and leopards abound in the well-known Tsavo East. All five of Africa’s species can be found at Tsavo West, a sister park featuring a mix of lava beds and refreshing green springs. After that, we’ll go on a safari to Amboseli Park, often known as “The Land of the Giants,” where Mt. Kilimanjaro towers above us. Spot enormous herds of elephants moving in a column beneath the well-known mountain in search of a watering hole.

4 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari Adventure

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park

Your driver/guide will be waiting with your own 4×4 Safari vehicle at the scheduled pickup site, which could be a hotel, an airport, or another location of your choice, ready to begin the tour. So, let’s get started on your safari excursion from Nairobi to Mombasa. You can begin your safari ahead of schedule by using the binoculars and guidebooks provided while travelling in your well-equipped Jeep. Your guide is also an endless supply of information about the area and its fauna. We will stop along the way for refreshments and rest. Upon approaching the park through the southern entrance, one is confronted with endless plains barren of flora yet rich in animals. We’ll probably make a few sightings before lunchtime.

After changing into new clothing and enjoying lunch among the park’s natural delights, you will return to your hotel. After that, we’ll go for a lengthy game drive. Elephants can be seen rolling in the park’s scarlet mud on the broad, parched plains, spreading a light film of rouge across their bodies. We’ll stop at a few watering holes, including Mudanda Rock and the Aruba Dam, where the park’s thirsty people may cool off. During your four-day tour, feel free to ask your driver/guide any questions you may have and make any special requests. He’ll be happy to answer them all.

Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).

Day 2: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park

On safari, you rise early so as not to miss anything and to rise with the birds and animals. You will head out into the savannah as soon as the first light shows to look for lions, buffalo, eland, impala, and elephants. After that, we head back to our tented camp or resort for breakfast. You will have another game drive across the park before departing to visit its sister park, Tsavo West. This park is noticeably more colourful, verdant, and features undulating hills and unique baobab trees.

The park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including the critically endangered rhino. Take a journey to the Nguilia Rhino Sanctuary and let’s see if we can spot these shy creatures. Our second safari evening at Tsavo West will be spent at your preferred resort or tented camp.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

It’s time for another safari day, which means rising early to witness the animals awaking in the gentle morning light. Amid the park’s hills and ancient lava flows are surprises like the palm-fringed oasis of Mzima Springs, fed by thousands of litres of pure water. The spring, which is home to crocodiles, hippos, and unusual fish and birds, provides water for the park’s parched wildlife. We expect to observe zebras, elephants, and other wildlife as they come to drink while wandering along the banks of the springs. Now is the moment to return to the 4×4 and go the short distance to Amboseli Park. The imposing silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro will act as a barometer for our approach as we near the reserve.

As you eat lunch in Amboseli, your third accommodation, you will take in the striking silhouette of the well-known peak that dominates the park’s southern vista. It’s now time for a safari around this renowned park. It is smaller than the Tsavo parks, but that means there are more species to see. Although it’s easy to spot elephants, we’ll also be on the lookout for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, and gazelles. The park will be home to a diverse range of creatures, such as baboons, hyenas, foxes, jackals, and monkeys. Elephants and other species are beautifully framed by the majestic Kilimanjaro, making the park an excellent location for photography.

For an alternative Amboseli experience, ask your guide about the optional trip to a nearby Maasai community. During this cultural tour, you will be able to see firsthand how the native people of this area live and earn a living. The surrounding clouds that encircle the peak of the mountain often break in the evening, providing a stunning view of the snow-capped peak. We’ll stop for dinner and stay in your tented camp or safari lodge for the night.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 4: Return to Nairobi – Departure

Let’s get up early for one last pre-breakfast game drive on our final safari day. This is how we do things on safari. We’ll head out early in the morning to find any wildlife we may have missed. The soft light of the sun will be reflected from Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak, which may be clear. While we continue to be amazed by the surrounding natural beauty, we’ll head back to our accommodation for breakfast. Then, it’s time for a mid-morning trip inside the park to take in more of this special place and catch a sight of the wildlife.

By late afternoon, we’ll depart from the park and return to Nairobi, arriving in time to drop you off at your hotel, the airport, or any other place you specify. Three parks, four days, and so much to see, consider, and talk about. We truly hope that your special Africa Kenya Safaris experience was enjoyable for you. You might have grown interested in safari after visiting these well-known parks and want to see more of our natural places. Simply phone us when you’re ready. While we wait, we shall communicate.
