5 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

After being picked up at the airport, you will be taken to the Serengeti, which is roughly 335 kilometres (208 miles) from Arusha. The Serengeti borders Lake Victoria to the west and stretches north to Kenya. You’ll get at the resort in time for lunch, after which you’ll have a drive in the afternoon.

Accommodation: Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

You will take a full-day game drive with a packed lunch after breakfast. There are many animals to be observed; 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles and over 200,000 zebras accompany the wildebeest in their quest for fresh pasture. The Serengeti offers some of the most thrilling game viewing in all of Africa, even during periods of low migration. Huge herds of buffalo, smaller herds of elephants and giraffes, thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, leopards, cheetahs, three African jackals, spotted hyenas, and a host of more elusive small predators, including the beautiful serval cat and the aardwolf, which feeds on insects, can all be seen here. In addition, there are more than 500 different kinds of birds, from the enormous ostrich and strange secretary bird seen in open grasslands to the black eagles that soar calmly above the Lobo Hills.

Accommodation: Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, take a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater where you could see a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and birds. The kori bustard, blacksmith plover, cattle eagle, vulture, flamingos at the Crater Lake, stork, bats, gigantic vulture, holy ibis, and long-necked heron are among the birds spotted here. You will take part in a walking safari along the crater rim in the afternoon.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

A veritable feast for predators, it is home to the highest concentration of species outside of the Serengeti ecosystem and the only location in Tanzania where dry-country antelope, including the stately fringe-eared oryx and the unusual long-necked gerenuk, can be seen on a regular basis.
